My time in Kentucky was rich–very rich. Life is simpler outside of D.C. I think I am wired for a different speed of life than what “crazyland” has to offer. Not that I plan on leaving any time soon, in fact quite the opposite is closer to the truth. I guess I am on a journey of finding balance as to what items with which I occupy my time are truly important–truly a priority. I find myself somewhere between the man at present and the man I want to be. Therein lies my journey. To the extent that I persevere and take action to move towards the man I know God has called me to rise up and be will be a true measure of my character and faith.

I arrived back home from Kentucky earlier this week. I’ve been playing hooky from the blog and other forms of marginally personal communication.
