Let me set the stage:
1. David Crowder is one of my favorite musicians.
2. I haven’t been to a concert since Pearl Jam toured in 1997.
3. His music is bursting with creativity and innovation and I never seem to tire of it.
4. Did I mention I really like the his music?
My house-mate Jeff and I spent the weeks before the concert listening to his new album, Remedy. I handed Jeff some of his older albums (I have all of them–I think) so he could learn more about the artist.
Awesome music aside, David left us with a powerful question. “What if we lived out there what we are singing in here.” He gave all of us some tangible opportunities to do so including donating towels and socks to the Central Union Mission. Or volunteering with Neighborhood Learning Center or Gospel Rescue Ministries.
“Surely we can change something…” -David Crowder
